Am I Eligible?Preschool Advantage funds preschool tuition for 3- and 4-year-old children whose families find it challenging to cover the high cost of preschool.
- To determine eligibility, Preschool Advantage considers each application individually to better understand the family’s current situation.
- The majority of the families served are a part of the ALICE population.
Preschool Advantage considers each application/family on an individual basis. A few factors considered when determining eligibility are:
- The age of the child. Children must be 3- or 4-years old by October 1, 2025 to be considered for funding. There are no exceptions.
- The family’s commitment to their child’s education
- Family income
- Family size
- Extenuating circumstances
- Prior preschool experience
- Ability to transport child to and from the partner preschool on a daily basis.
